(Born in Elizabeth, NJ) Altrina Renee is an American singer-songwriter who has been dubbed the First Lady of Ice H20 records, a label of the legendary Raekwon "the Chef" of the Wu-Tang Clan.

Altrina's childhood was divided between Elizabeth, NJ., and San Antonio, TX. Her early musical influences included singing in her grandmothers Baptist Childrens Church choir, and listening to her mother's favorite records consiting of Patti Label, Marvin Gaye, Anita Baker, and Stevie Wonder, to name a few. She and her sister would learn the music then put on shows for their audience, consisting of her little brothers. Through some of the rough times the siblings would experience they would always find solice and escape through music.

Altrina was insprired to write as a young teenager after hearing Mary J. Blige "Whats the 411" album. She felt she could relate to the pain expressed and was drawn to the way the music was mixed with classic soul and hip hop rhythm creating a unique new sound in that time. That is when she new for sure that Hip Hop RnB was her lane. At age 16, she and her older sister formed a group called Mahogany with the guidence of her mother but soon after the birth of her sisters first child the group dissolved and Altrina continued alone. In 2001 she landed a production deal and focused on writing. Soon after a song she wrote called "Girl in the Picture" was placed on Mario first self entitled album 'Mario'.

Due to issues with the production company for which she was signed to and the birth of her child, Altrina felt the need to put music on the back burner having to work a 9-5 to assist with her families financial state. Working a 9-5 was not her ideal position in life but she felt it was what needed to be done at the time.

Although she tried to leave music alone, it would not leave her. She started to create, record, and write again with local producers, perform at venues in her area of North Jersey, and make connections with people in the industry. Finally, one meeting paid off with the introduction to Raekwon of the Wutang Clan in 2010 which later landed her the coveted spot of being the First Lady of IceH20 Records.

With her first single "FaceTime", produced by BlockStars Production Studios and Mantiz, and a feature with Raekwon on the single "That Good Good" being introduced to the world on Raekwons mixtape "Unexpected Victory" , released January 2012, Altrina is focused, determined, driven, and ready to bring back real RnB to the game and represent that feel good music. This is only the beggining so keep watching...for a star is on the rise.
